Why can't I attach a file to an email template? Follow

Salesmate allows you send out emails with attachments. However, when you are running an automation, using email templates we do not allow attachments.

Why am I not allowed to attach a file to an email template? 

When an attachment is uploaded to an email template that means the file is going to be same for all emails. And sending them as physical storage will require more storage.

Whereas uploading a file to Google Drive, Dropbox or any of your favorite file storage app, and placing their link inside the email to download file will give you analytics about who, when and how many times a file was opened. And it will also require less storage space.
