Currently it is not possible to remove the contact from the Automation. However it can be possible through a workaround.
If you have multiple Actions set for the Automation, you can add a condition such as Check Contact Field, and add the Condition for Tags is not equals to STOP, now you can go back to the contact that you would like to remove from the Automation and add the Tag as STOP to it and the Contact would get removed from the Automation Journey and the rest contacts will move further with the Journey.
Note: Please note that the Action set before the Tag Condition would however be executed.
- For example let's check the following Automation,
- Here, we shall add Check Contact field after the first Action's execution,
- Now, add the Condition where Tags is Not Equals to STOP.
- Now, the contact matching the condition would continue with further Automation and the contacts not matching the condition would get exited from the Journey.
- You can add these Condition before any Actions that you would want to exit the Contact from.
- Let's add one more Condition block to remove certain contacts after the Add To List Action, checking the same condition as prior.
- You can add these Conditions before or after any Actions as per your requirement.
