Customers might call you for a number of reasons. They might want a trial period extension, new features, or simply have their calls returned. To help you engage, prioritize, and manage calls better, Salesmate lets you take notes during the call and create activities soon after your call has ended.
For calls ended successfully the calls will be logged automatically. Incoming calls are logged as 'Inbound call with {Contact Name}', whereas the Outgoing calls are logged as 'Outbound call with {Contact Name}'.
In case you have missed the call they are available in Call Logs for which you can create activities by hitting the attach call link on the three-dotted button on the call log.
The steps are,
- Hit the phone widget on the top bar
- Click the UNATTENDED CALL LOGS button
- Hover over the Unattended call you want to log
- Click on the three-dotted button
- Hit Attach Call to create an activity
- Hit Save
Also, while you are unavailable you will find an activity 'Missed Call - From {Contact Name}' under your All Open Activities
Note: In case there is no name for the contact, the activity will be logged as 'Missed Call - From {Contact.Number}'
