What are the deals?
Deals are sales opportunities which generate business for an organization. Deals move along a Sales Pipeline from one stage to another until they are closed (won/lost). Sales Revenue can be forecasted based on the deals a salesperson is working upon.
How to add a deal?
Deals can be added to the system by various methods:
- Quick add.
- Deal creation from Deal Pipeline.
- Quick Add in contact.
- Quick Add in the company.
- Add deal from the contact from Related.
- Add deal from the company from related.
1. Quick add
Adding a deal through the dashboard.
- Go to the Dashboard.
- Click on this plus icon.
- Click on the Add Deal.
- Fill up the details and
- Click on this mark icon to save.
Add Teammates
A teammate will be the user who has been following up the deal along with the owner.
- Open the Deal form
- Click on the Teammates.
- Or if the Deal is already created click on the Related Tab
- Click teammates and then search the teammate by typing the name you want to add in the deal.
- Click on one of the search results of the user.
- It will appear on the screen.
Add Participants
Participants are the contacts who follow the deal.
- Open the Deal form.
- Click on the Participants.
- Or if the Deal is already created, click on the related tab.
- Click on Participants and search the contact.
- Type the contact name, choose one of the Contact from the search result and click on the tick mark icon on top right of the screen.
- It will appear on the screen.
- Save the Deal.
2.Deal creation from a Deal Pipeline.
- Go to the dashboard.
- Click on the sidebar Menu.
- Click on the Deals.
- Click on the plus (+) to add new deals.
Note
- By default Stages of the pipeline is selected from where it is being created. eg if a deal is created on contacted stage then by default stage is contacted.
3. Quick Add from contact details
Open any particular contact in which you want to add deals.
- Open the contact details.
- Click on the plus icon.
- Click on the Add Deal.
- A Deal creation form appears. Fill the basic details and click on the red tick mark on the top right corner of the screen.
OR
- Click on the dotted icon.
- Click on the Add Deal.
- A Deal creation form appears. Fill the basic details and click on the red tick mark on the top right corner of the screen.
4. Quick Add from Company details
Open any particular company in which you want to add deals.
- Open the Company details.
- Click on this plus icon.
- Click on the Add Deal.
- A Deal creation form appears. Fill the basic details and click on the red tick mark on the top right corner of the screen.
OR
- Click on the dotted icon to add deals.
- Click on the Add Deal.
- A Deal creation form appears. Fill the basic details and click on the red tick mark on the top right corner of the screen.

The user can also add deals from the RELATED section.
- Open the Contact details.
- Go to the Related section followed by Deals
- Click on the plus icon (+) to add dea
- ls.
- A Deal creation form appears. Fill the basic details and click on the red tick mark on the top right corner of the screen.

The user can also add deals from the RELATED section.

- Click on the Related section followed by Deals
- Click on this plus icon (+) to add deals.
