Automation journeys allow you to automate the end-to-end customer journey across sales, marketing, and service touch-points.
Automation Journeys are best suited for creating multi-touchpoint, multi-day, multi-channel customer journeys for nurture and engagement.
In Salesmate, you can build Automation Journeys using a visual drag-drop editor. Each automation consists of triggers, conditions and actions.
- Triggers - Starts automation journey
- Conditions - Let you build a complete flow and exit points for automation.
- Actions - Perform the business action to achieve your required results.
Basics of automation journeys
- Automation always starts with a trigger - E.g., Records Created, Date Match or Page Visited.
- Automation uses condition blocks to decide the flow of records - E.g., Check if the contact is part of a list or if he has read a particular email.
- Automation must contain at-least one action and it can have multiple actions based on your marketing/sales journey - E.g., Send a welcome, Send a text or Update a field.
- Automation goals can help decide the effectiveness of the journey - E.g., Check if the contact upgraded the plan or tried a new feature.
- Exit automation action is helpful for properly ending the flow of the record. It helps to end the record's journey and measure goals in a better way.
