How to use "Field Update" Trigger?
- Let's drag-drop the Field Update trigger step on the journey's canvas.
- Click on the step to choose from the module and field which should trigger this journey.
- Select Module: We can trigger automation journey for contact, company, deal or activity record.
- Select Module Field: Enable the fields which trigger the automation journey when updated.
Note: If you have enabled multiple fields, the journey will only trigger when all selected fields are updated. If you want to apply the "OR" condition, then use this trigger multiple times inside the journey.
Use Case
Here we have created an automation journey that triggers whenever the deal value is updated. Here we check if the deal value is higher than ten thousand dollars and appends tag "high value" to it. It's pretty helpful searching such deals manually or run some other automation journeys based on that.
