For activity modules, users will not be able to change the layout of fields that Salesmate provides, they cannot enable/disable/delete those fields as well.
Users will be able to create/update/delete additional custom fields in activity, for which users can change the layout. These fields cannot be moved to the Default group.
Below are the hard-coded system fields that will be provided by Salesmate, which the end user cannot modify.

Users can create and manage the custom fields they require in Activity. Users can update/delete/rearrange the custom fields
Custom fields created will not be added to the default section in the Layout screen. They will appear below the fixed system fields in the order they are arranged by the User as shown on the screen below.
The layout of the field will be a fixed single column layout.
