I appreciate the Salesmate feature that allows me to send email from within Salesmate that has a from email address that I can configure. I have an email system that I control that I implemented the feature on.
However, I also have an email system with a large insurance company. Many of the products I offer are through that insurance company. There is value in maintaining the branding and the email address that goes with it. Unfortunately, I do not control the configuration on the corporate side. Because I do not control the configuration for the corporate account, and because Salesmate's system requires that a configuration be changed on the corporate system in order to implement the feature, it is not possible to use Salesmate directly. I have to go to the corporate account and email from there.
I realize that this is done to prevent spoofing. I thought, however, I'd mention this in case there is any good idea out there about what to do about it.
One thing that is helpful is the ability to BC outgoing messages (with a link provided by SalesMate) from the corporate domain so that the outgoing message is captured by Salesmate. That works. However, sometimes I forget to put in the BC, and it is not possible to fix that mistake after the fact.
Anything you can do that will make it easier to integrate Salesmate into my business process that leverages the corporate domain I have to use on the corporate side would be appreciated.
