Improve Recurring Activities

I recently created a recurring activity with parameters to recur Weekly on Mondays.  To my surprise, the first recurrence is now showing up for this Thursday.  After reaching out to support, they indicated that this was expected behaviour based on some convoluted explanation about due dates relative to the activity creation date.

When I asked how to create an activity that recurs weekly on Monday mornings with a due date of Monday, I was told that I needed to wait until next Monday to create a new recurring activity.  This logic is complicated and poorly documented, and having to wait a week to create a new activity is a bit ridiculous.

Please consider making revisions to how recurring activities work, to bring the logic in line with almost every other modern task management app that uses absolute dates instead of relative ones.

  Yes we have yearly recurring tasks but I was told they don't show up until midnight the day is due.  I would think any recurring task would show up right away. I hope this changes.
