Update Deals via CSV File

It would save us a ton of time if we could update deals via CSV file instead of only being able to create them. Specifically, we'd like to update deal status to "won" via CSV.

  Hello Patrick,

  Our team has updated you in the chat, but let me reshare the steps to achieve your requirement if you have missed them.

  Updating deals are possible using CSV import. But for that, you will require to pass the deal IDs in the import sheet. Please follow these steps to perform your import.

  To download deals data that you already have in the system, please follow these steps:

  1. Goto Setup >> Export >> Deals
  2. Select the view (deal list) which you want to export
  3. Check the Deal Id column while exporting the data.
  4. Hit Export
     

   

  

   

  You will get a notification when the export finishes. Download the file, make all required changes and upload back the file inside the system. To import the file you can follow these steps.

   

  1. Goto Setup >> Import >> Choose import via CSV / Excel
  2. Import your file (detailed help)
  3. Map required columns
  4. Please map the ID field with the Deal's id fild.
  5. Select the checkbox that you want to perform bulk update operation.
