Limit Google Workspace Scopes when Configuring Calendar and Email
Salesmate requires full access to Google Drive to set up an email inbox and calendar.
As a Healthcare executive (and former cybersecurity professional) whose team follows strict HIPAA regulations, I find it highly intrusive that Salesmate requires full access to Google Drive to send and receive emails and connect a calendar.
Support advised me to establish the connection and then remove Drive access, but I find that a sloppy workaround presents a considerable security risk for us. I don't have to use this feature, but it essentially defeats the tool's value proposition for my sales team.
I hope this is taken into consideration by the product team - users should never be forced to allow access to more data than necessary.
