Managing User access to Goals is a critical aspect of business. Salesmate lets you manage who can Create, Edit, Delete or Recalculate the created Goals keeping sensitive information safe.
Note:
- Admin Users can view all Goals by default
- Non-admin users can see their Goals that are assigned to them, it's progress and details for goals they contribute to.
To manage the Goal Management Roles & Permission,
- Navigate to the Profile Icon on the top right corner.
- Click on the Set Up
- Head over to the Users & Security category
- Click on the Profile Permissions
- Select the Profile and click on Edit option
Here, you can manage the permissions for following actions,
- Create Goals: Define which users are authorized to create new goals within the system. You can choose to restrict access entirely or allow creation for individual Goals, Team Goals, or All Goals
- Edit Goals: Grant edit permissions only to users who require the ability to update goals. You can choose to allow the Edit rights to the Owned Goals or to All Goals
- Delete Goals: Determine which users have the ability to permanently remove goals from the system. You can choose to allow the Delete rights to the Owned Goals or to All Goals
- Recalculate Goals: Manage who can recalculate goal progress. You can choose to allow the Recalculating rights to the Owned Goals or to All Goals
