With Goal Management create user-specific, team-oriented, and even custom goals for sales, service, and other relevant business areas.
To start creating Goals
- Access Goals from the left sidebar.
- While creating the Goal for the first time click on the Create Your First Goal option to initiate the process.

Create Goals using Predefined Metrics
Here, you would need to add the following details,
- Describe Your Goal: Briefly outline the specific objective you aim to achieve.
- What do you want to measure: Define the key metric you'll use to track progress towards your goal. You can create a Goal by selecting the pre-defined metrics or choose to create a Custom Goal
- What is the frequency of the Goal: Set a timeframe for achieving your goal. Will it be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly

Who will contribute towards this Goal: Assign ownership to the goal
- Users: Choose specific individuals who will be accountable for achieving the goal.
- Teams: Assign the goal to a relevant team, ensuring everyone within the team contributes to its success.
Note: You can create Goals either using the Users or Teams simultaneously
Create Custom Goals
When you choose Create Custom Goals alongside the default options, additional fields will become available.
- Module: Select the module where you want to implement this goal
- Field: Choose the specific data field within the selected module that you want to track for your goal.
- Aggregation: Choose the operation that will be applied to the values in the selected field.
- Which date field will be used to measure goal: Choose a date field that will be used to measure and track the goal over time.
- Who will be accountable for this Goal: Select the type of User field that should be checked for the contribution towards the goal.
- Here, you also get an option to set "Additional Condition" to define even more precise goal criteria
- Once done click on Next
Set Up
- Within the Set Up you would need to assign Users/ Teams to this goal as per your previous selection
- Click Add Users and search/select them from the pop-up window.
- Once done click on Add
- Once the User are added and you can now set targets weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly based on your selection in the previous step for how frequently you want to measure this goal.
- Click Next to continue.
Finish
Here, choose to receive the notifications when the Goal starts, achieved, missed, or exceeds the required target.
- Goal kick-off: Get notified when the goal officially starts, so everyone's aligned and ready to take action.
- Goal is Achieved: Receive a notification when the goal is met.
- Goal is Exceeded: Get notified if you achieve exceptional results and exceed your target.
- Goal is Missed: Receive a notification if the goal isn't met by the deadline.
Configure Permission
- Allow Users to view each others progress: You can allow users who are added to this goal to view each other’s progress by enabling the toggle button. If this is a team goal, then users of the same team can view each other’s progress but they can’t view the progress of a user who belongs to a different team.
- Once the configuration is completed, click on Save & and your Goal will get successfully created
