To ensure proper access control over the Surveys feature, administrators can manage specific permissions for different user profiles. This guide walks you through how to locate and configure survey-related permissions within the profile settings.
The Surveys feature is available on the Business Plan and above.
To Manage Survey Roles & Permissions:
- Navigate to the Profile Icon in the top right corner
- Click on Setup.
- Head over to the Users & Security category.
- Click on Profile Permissions.
- Click on the Edit button of the Profile you want to edit the permission.
- These survey permissions will be displayed under the "Survey Permissions" section at the bottom of the profile settings.
Here, you will get the list of the following options
View Survey: It allows users to access and view all existing surveys along with their captured responses. It provides read-only access, meaning users can see the data but cannot make any changes to the surveys.
Export Survey: It allows users to download or export the responses collected through surveys.
Manage Survey: It grants full control over surveys. With this permission enabled, users can create new surveys, make edits to existing ones, and delete surveys that are no longer needed.
Note: When Export Survey or Manage Survey permission is enabled, the View Survey permission is automatically granted as it is required for exporting survey content or managing it.
