Get started with the Survey Listing page in Salesmate CRM to view, manage, and organize your surveys, making it easy to track responses and take actions to improve customer engagement.
Note: You’ll need permission to manage Surveys to perform actions like editing, archiving, or deleting surveys.

View the Survey Listing Page
- In the left sidebar, click Surveys to access the Survey Listing page.
- Here you can see all your surveys displayed in a grid with key details.
Survey List Details
The survey grid shows these details by default:
| Survey Name | The title of the survey for quick identification. |
| Survey Format | This shows if the survey is Compact or Extended. |
| Survey Type | The type of survey, like NPS, CSAT, CES, or Custom. |
| # Opens | Total times the survey was viewed or opened. |
| Responses | Total number of completed survey responses. |
| Response Rate | Percentage of completed surveys compared to those sent. |
| Status | Shows if the survey is Draft, Published, Unpublished, or Archived. |
| Publish Date | The date the survey was published. |
Add or Customize Columns
You can add these extra columns to the grid:
- Created By: The user who created the survey.
- Last Modified By: The user who last edited the survey.
- Created Date: The date the survey was created.
- Last Modified Date: The date of the last change.
- Average Score: The average score from responses (useful for NPS, CSAT, etc.).
- Manage Columns: Click Manage Columns in the top right to add, remove, or reorder columns by dragging them. Your column choices and layout are saved for your next visit.
Perform Actions on Surveys
You can take these actions on individual surveys:
- Edit: You can update the survey’s title, questions, or settings.
- Clone: Create a copy of the survey to reuse or modify.
- Unpublish: This will stop a published survey from being active.
- Share: For Published Surveys, you can get a unique link to distribute the survey.
- Archive: Move the survey to the Archived folder.
- Delete: Remove the survey permanently.
Bulk Operations
You can also perform Bulk Operations on surveys. You can select multiple surveys to:
- Move to Folder: Place surveys in a custom folder.
- Archive: Move selected surveys to the Archived folder (Published surveys are skipped).
- Delete: Remove selected surveys permanently.
Manage Folders
You can also organize your surveys with folders:

Default Folders:
- All: Shows all surveys.
- Archived: Shows archived surveys.

Custom Folders:
- Create, edit, or delete your folders to group surveys.
Search and Filter Surveys
- Search: Search by survey name.
- Filter: Filter by status (Draft, Published, Unpublished, or Archived).
- Sort: Sort the surveys by name, dates, or number-based columns (e.g., Responses, Average Score).
