Salesmate Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Salesmate Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables AI assistants and other MCP-compatible applications to securely connect with your Salesmate account. Once connected, these applications can securely access your CRM data and perform supported actions on your behalf using standardized authentication.
By integrating Salesmate with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP-compatible clients, you can interact with your CRM using natural language. This allows you to search records, create or update CRM data, retrieve activity history, enroll contacts into sequences, post notes, and perform other supported operations without navigating through the Salesmate interface.

What are MCP Auth Apps?
MCP Auth Apps allow Account Admins to securely connect AI assistants and other applications that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as ChatGPT and Claude, with their Salesmate account.
When an MCP Auth App is created, Salesmate generates a unique Client ID and Client Secret that external applications use to authenticate securely.
Prerequisites:
- You must be an Account Admin.
- The external application must support the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Available Salesmate MCP Tools

| Get current user context | Returns information about the authenticated user and account. |
| Get users | Returns all active Salesmate users. |
| Get teams | Retrieves all configured teams. |
| Get lists | Returns all contact lists. |
| Get sequences | Returns available sales sequences. |
| Get sequence senders | Returns senders configured for a sequence. |
| Enroll sequence | Enrolls contacts or deals into a sequence. |
| Get quote templates | Returns all available quote templates. |
| Get currencies | Returns active currencies configured in the account. |

The list of supported MCP tools continues to expand as new capabilities are added.
Before You Begin
- Each app receives a unique Client ID and Client Secret.
- The Client Secret is generated only once.
- Deleting an app immediately invalidates its credentials.
- Any existing integrations using the app stop working immediately.
Create an MCP Auth App
To create a new MCP Auth App:
- Navigate to the Profile Icon on the top right corner
- Click on Setup
- Head over to the Apps & Add-Ons Section
- Click on MCP Auth Apps.
- Click on Create App.

Enter the following details:
- Name (Required)
- Description (Optional)
- Callback URL (Optional)

The Claude callback URL is the same for all Salesmate accounts. Use the following default callback URL:
For ChatGPT, the callback URL is not fixed. You will need to generate it from ChatGPT during the app configuration.
- Click Save.
Once created, Salesmate generates:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
Store the Client ID and Client Secret securely. The Client Secret cannot be regenerated.
Connect the Salesmate MCP Server to an AI Pilot Agent
You can connect the Salesmate MCP server to an AI Pilot agent to enable it to securely access your Salesmate CRM data and use the available MCP tools during conversations.
Authentication Method: Use Custom Headers when you want your AI Pilot agent to connect to the Salesmate MCP Server and access data from your own Salesmate account.
This authentication method is recommended when your AI agent needs to retrieve CRM records, create or update records, post notes, enroll contacts into sequences, or perform other supported Salesmate actions.

Once authenticated, the AI agent can securely access your Salesmate account and use the available Salesmate MCP tools. All actions performed by the agent are limited to the permissions associated with the provided access token.
Delete an MCP Auth App
Deleting an MCP Auth App permanently removes its configuration and revokes all authentication credentials.
- Click on the Setup
- Head over to the App & Add-ons
- Click on the MCP Auth Apps.
- Click Delete.

Type the confirmation text exactly as displayed:
Delete [App Name]
- Click Yes.
Important
- Deletion is permanent.
- The confirmation text is case-sensitive.
- All access tokens and refresh tokens are revoked immediately.
- Connected integrations stop working instantly.
Notes
- Only Account Admins can access MCP Auth Apps.
- Each app must have a unique name.
- Multiple MCP Auth Apps can be created.
- Callback URLs can be updated.
- Client ID and Client Secret remain unchanged throughout the application's lifetime.
- Credentials cannot be regenerated.
- Delete and recreate the app if new credentials are required.
- Deleting an app immediately disables every integration using its credentials.
