- Click on Team Agents
- Click on Usage Limits.
Only users with the AI Studio Admin permission can access Usage Limits.
The Usage Limits page has three tabs:
- Usage
- Users Limits
- Agents Limits
The current AI credit usage summary is available at the top of the page.
How To View AI Credit Usage?
The Usage summary at the top of the page helps you keep track of the AI credits available and consumed during the current usage cycle.
It displays:
| Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Credits | Total AI credits available to the workspace for the current cycle. |
| Credits Used | AI credits already consumed during the current cycle. |
| Renewal Date | Date when the current usage cycle resets. |
| Progress Bar | Shows the percentage of credits consumed when a workspace cap is enabled. |
For example, if your workspace has 10,000 total credits and a workspace cap of 7,000 credits, the usage can be displayed as 4,220 / 7,000.
Set a Workspace AI Credit Limit
The Usage tab lets you control the overall AI credit usage for your workspace.
Enable Set workspace cap to define a Monthly cap for AI usage. You can also choose what should happen when the configured limit is reached.
Choose What Happens When the Limit Is Reached
You can choose between:
Pause new runs
When the workspace reaches the configured limit, new AI runs are not started. This applies to new Sandy runs, Chat Assistant runs, manual Background Agent runs, Smart Flow-triggered runs, scheduled runs, and applicable test runs.
Runs that are already in progress can continue, while new automated runs are skipped because the limit has been reached.
Warn only
AI runs continue even after the configured cap is reached. The system records that the limit has been exceeded, while admins are notified according to the applicable usage warning rules.
Click Save policy to save the workspace usage policy.
Set AI Credit Limits for Users
The Users Limits tab lets you apply AI credit limits to users.
You can configure a default user policy and add individual user overrides when certain users need different limits.
Set a Default User Limit
Enable Set user limits and enter:
- Default user limit
- Period
The available periods are:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Click Save user policy to save the default user limit.
Users without a specific override follow the default user limit and reset period. Users with an override follow the limit configured specifically for them.
Add a User-Specific Limit
You can add a user override when a particular user needs a different AI credit limit.
Use Search by name, or email to find the user you want to configure. Once selected, the user is added to the override list.
The user override list includes:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| User | The user for whom the limit is configured. |
| Usage | AI credits currently used by the user during the active period. |
| Custom limit | The user-specific AI credit limit. |
| Reset period | The period after which the user's usage limit resets. |
A custom limit and reset period are required for an override. The custom limit must be greater than zero, and the same user cannot have more than one override.
Remove a User Limit
Removing a user from the override list removes the custom limit and returns the user to the default user policy.
If user limits are disabled, user-level limits, including existing overrides, are not enforced. The saved overrides can remain available and become active again when user limits are enabled.
Set AI Credit Limits for Agents
Set a Default Agent Limit
The Agents Limits tab lets you control AI credit usage at the agent level. This can be useful when an agent handles a high volume of tasks or consumes a significant number of AI credits.
Enable Set agent limits and configure:
- Default agent limit
- Reset period
The available reset periods are:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Click Save agent policy to save the default agent limit.
When agent limits are enabled, agents without a specific override use the default agent limit and reset period. Agents with an override use their configured custom limit.
Configure an Agent-Specific Limit
The Agents list displays your agents and allows you to configure individual limits.
The list includes:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Agent | Agent name and short description. |
| Usage | AI credits currently used by the agent during the active period. |
| Custom limit | The AI credit limit configured specifically for the agent. |
| Reset period | The period after which the agent's limit resets. |
The available reset periods are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.
Remove an Agent Limit
Removing an agent override returns the agent to the default agent policy.
If agent limits are disabled, agent-level limits, including existing overrides, are not enforced. The saved overrides can remain available and become active again when agent limits are enabled.
What Happens When a Limit Is Reached
Depending on the limit that has been reached, Salesmate displays an appropriate message and prevents further runs when the applicable policy requires it.
Workspace limit reached
Workspace AI credit limit reached. New AI runs are cancelled until credits reset or the limit is increased.
User limit reached
You have reached your AI credit limit for this period. Contact your admin or wait until your limit resets.
Agent limit reached
This agent has reached its AI credit limit for this period. Increase the limit or wait until it resets.
If a limit is reduced below the usage that has already been recorded, new runs remain blocked until usage resets or the limit is increased.
