Google Calendar helps you manage your day-to-day activities effectively and adds to your productivity. Salesmate adds to it by letting you synchronize the activities created in it with Google Calendar or vice versa.
Enabling this integration will sync all your future events to the Google Calendar.

Syncing your activities with Google Calendar:
Make sure you have added the Google account to Salesmate. To add a Google account click here.
If you have not connected your Google Account before you go for Calendar Sync we recommend connecting your Gmail Account first.
Connecting Google account:
- Navigate to the Profile icon from the top right corner
- Click on Go to My Account
- Head over to Connected Account(s)
- Click on the New Account button
- Select Google
- Choose an account to continue to Salesmate.io
- Provide necessary permissions for access to the account
- Once you Allow the permission the account will Successfully get Connected.
Connecting Google Calendar for Sync:
Steps for already connected Google Accounts
- Navigate to the Profile icon from the top right corner
- Click on Go to My Account
- Head over to Calendar Sync
- Select the Google Account in case of multiple Google Accounts connected (Email)
- Select the Sync Calendar (Email)
- Select the Google calendar you wish to sync your activities
- Select the - Events will appear in Salesmate as
- *Event Subject (The text above will be added as the subject of the events that are synced to Google Calendar. The parts of the text in brackets will be replaced with the data from the activity. Example: {{contact}} {{company}} {{deal}} {{title}} {{type}})
- Select the type of Activities you wish to sync and set notifications for the same.
- Click Update.
- Once you click on update your calendar will be successfully updated and will start syncing.
- You can choose to either:
- Helps you manage your activities as you add them to Salesmate
- Avoids duplication by managing them in multiple places
- Adding an activity to Salesmate will update it to the Google Calendar.
- You can manage that activity independently from your Google Calendar.
- Any changes made to that activity will not be reflected in Salesmate.
- Any event you add to the Google Calendar will not be added to Salesmate
- Sync all events between Google Calendar and Salesmate
- Only sync events added from Salesmate
There you are all set to sync your activities to Google Calendar.
General Settings:
- Choose the default activity type to be created in Salesmate
- Choose how your Event Title will appear in Google Calendar.
- By default, it is set to " {{contact}} {{company}} {{deal}} {{title}} {{type}} "
Notification Settings:
- Click on +Notification
- Select the type of notification
- Popup
- Select the duration i.e. before how much time you wish to receive the notification
- The default is 30 mins
- Click Update
- You can set multiple notifications for an activity
- There you are all set to receive notifications for that activity.
Note:
- All activities already updated to Google Calendar will only sync upon a change in the activity.
- Recurring events/activities sync is not supported.
