How to Add New Number to the WhatsApp Channel Follow

Install WhatsApp Channel for Chat Communication for real-time messaging. You can also add more than one number for communication.

To Add a New Number to the WhatsApp Channel,

• Navigate to the Conversations Icon from the left menu bar
• Select Chats
• Click Chat Settings from the bottom left corner.

• Head to the Channels Option
• You will see the list of channels here that are installed
• You can Add a New Number for the Installed WhatsApp Channel.
  • Add a New Number for WhatsApp by Twilio
  • Add a New Number for WhatsApp by Vonage

To Add a Number for WhatsApp by Twilio,

• Click on the three dots and select Add New Number option
• Here, add the following details, 
  • Account SID: Account SID details will be obtained from your Twilio Account
  • Auth Token: Auth Token will be obtained from your Twilio Account
  • WhatsApp Number: A number approved by Twilio 
• Once done, click on Next
• Now you would need to copy the Webhook URL and paste it to Twilio Fields
• Click on Finish

Add a New Number for WhatsApp by Vonage

To Add a Number for WhatsApp by Vonage,

• Click on the three dots and select Add New Number option
• Here, add the following details,
  • API Key: These details would be obtained from your Vonage Account
  • API Secret: These details would be obtained from your Vonage Account
  • WhatsApp Number: As soon as you enter the API key and the API secret, the system will automatically show the list of registered numbers, from which you can select the number
  • Upload Private Key: You need to download the private key from Vonage and upload it here to move further.
• Once done, click on Next
• Now you would need to copy the Webhook URL and paste it to Vonage Fields
• Click on Finish
