The Total Number of Clicks report gives you an idea of how many times users click on articles in the knowledge base. This allows you to assess the content's popularity and engagement level.
The report logs clicks whenever a visitor or contact clicks on any link in an article, so you'll know which articles are generating most of the engagement.
- The data is displayed as a grid, offering a structured view of article click performance.
- Article Title: The title of the article.
- Article ID: Article's unique identifier.
- Category: The category that the article is filed under (e.g., Setup Guides, FAQs, Troubleshooting).
- Total Clicks: The total number of clicks made on the article.
- The report utilizes the total number of clicks as the measure for determining article engagement.
- The report will automatically show data for the last 30 days, and you can change this range.
- There is a drill-down capability so that you can click on the article title to see more information about the clicks and user interaction.
- Add this report to your dashboard by clicking on the Add widget and choosing the system or Knowledge Base filter on the left panel then selecting the report and clicking on the Add to Dashboard option.
- Date Range: Adjust the time frame to analyze click activity over a specific period.
- Article Category: Filter by categories like Setup Guides, FAQs, or Troubleshooting to focus on relevant article performance.
Note:
- You will need to select one knowledge base if you have multiple Knowledge bases in the account when you add this widget to the dashboard.
- If you have only one then it will be selected by default.
