Create an Inbox
To Activate Unified Conversation Inbox and Install Salesmate Chats
- Navigate to Conversations Icon on the left menu bar

Click on Unified Inbox.

In the header, you’ll see a dropdown showing your default workspace name, which is automatically created during the Unified Inbox activation. Learn more about Unified Inbox.

Click on “+ New Inbox.”

Here you need to fill in the following information:
- Inbox name: It will be visible to your website visitors when they start a conversation.
- Description: Write the details about the Inbox
- Accessibility: Choose who can access this inbox and reply to conversations. The selected users will automatically be assigned AI Pilot core seats.
- To adhere to the compliance, you would need to accept the "Terms & Conditions" and "Privacy Policy"
- Click Save to create the new Inbox. A success message will appear: “Created successfully.”

Delete an Inbox
- Navigate to Conversations Icon on the left menu bar
- Click on Unified Inbox.
- There are 2 ways to delete an Inbox:
- 1st way:
- From the header, hover the Inbox you wish to delete.
- Click on the Delete Icon.
- 2nd Way:
- From the header, select the Inbox you wish to delete.
- Click on Inbox Settings and select Delete this inbox.

Confirm your action to proceed. You’ll see a success message: “Deleted successfully.”
- Each Inbox will have its own chat settings and communication channels.
- Default Inbox cannot be deleted.
- Ensure you have the permission “Manage Unified Inbox”, only users with this permission can create or delete Inboxes.
- The number of Inboxes you can create depends on your subscription plan.
