This agent is paused and cannot respond right now.
Task Agents
The manual run option is disabled for a paused task agent.

What Happens to Manual Runs and Smart Flow Runs?
Manual Run
A paused agent cannot be manually run.
This agent is paused. Resume it before running.
Smart Flow
Smart Flow skips the agent while it is paused. The skipped execution is recorded in the Smart Flow run history.
- Status: Skipped
- Reason: Agent paused
The skipped run is not automatically retried. The agent runs again when a new Smart Flow execution occurs after the agent is resumed.
Scheduled Runs
Scheduled runs that occur while the agent is paused are skipped. Resuming the agent does not trigger previously missed scheduled runs.
Smart Flow will continue from the next scheduled run.
What Happens to Existing Approvals?
Existing approval requests remain visible even when the agent is paused.
Approval execution is blocked while the agent remains paused. If you try to approve an action belonging to a paused agent, you will see:
Resume the agent before approving this action.
What Happens to AI Credits?
A paused agent does not consume AI credits.
- Skipped Smart Flow executions for a paused agent do not consume AI credits.
- Viewing the agent configuration or logs does not consume credits.
What Happens If You Pause an Agent While It Is Running?
If an agent is already running when you pause it, the current run can finish. No new runs will start while the agent is paused.
The agent status can indicate that it is paused while the existing run finishes:
Paused. 1 run finishing.
What Happens If Required Data or Model Access Changes?
When you resume a paused agent, its required configuration is validated before the agent becomes active.
Required CRM data is missing
This agent cannot be resumed because required CRM data is missing.
The model is no longer allowed
This agent uses a model that is no longer allowed. Choose an approved model before resuming.
Resolve the issue before resuming the agent.
Pause and Resume History
Pausing and resuming an agent is recorded in the audit logs. The history includes who performed the action, when it was performed, and the reason provided while pausing the agent.
For example:
(User name) paused Stale Deal Monitor on Jun 9, 2026
Reason: Reviewing task creation policy.
Pause and Delete
Pausing an agent is a temporary way to stop it from running. It does not delete the agent or its configuration.
While paused, you can continue to review and edit the agent, access its history and logs, and retain its Smart Flow connections and permissions. When the agent is ready to be used again, click Resume agent.
