In Zapier, follow below steps to create your Zap:
- Click on + Create Zap
- Choose a Trigger App: Salesmate
- Select the Trigger Event: New Deal
- Click on Continue.
- Sign in to your preferred Salesmate account.
Select an existing account or Connect to a new Salesmate account Next, you'll be asked to name your Salesmate connection and enter your API Key. To locate your API Key in your Salesmate account, please follow these steps:
- First login into your Salesmate Link
- Login into your Salesmate Link ex. https://demo.salesmate.io using your credentials
- Navigate to the Profile Icon on the top right corner.
- Go to My Account
- Click on Access Key
- Copy the Session key to the clipboard.
Paste your key back into your Zapier account and then “Continue”. If your API key is entered correctly your Salesmate account will now be successfully connected.
- Click on Continue again.
- Now, you'll get an option to Test Trigger to check if the connected Salesmate account is correct or not.
- As you click on Test Trigger, you should get the results of the latest Deal created for that particular account.
- Click on Continue with Selected Record if the given results seem correct, if you wish to get another result click on Find New Records
- Next Setup the Action (This action will be based on the application you wish to integrate Salesmate with)
- Select the Action App: Gmail
- Select the Action Event: Send Email
- Click on Continue.
- Connect to the Gmail Account.
- Click on Continue.
- Set up Gmail Email i.e. the content of the email you would like to send.
- Click on Continue.
- Here, you'll get data from mapped fields.
- Now, you can go ahead and Test Step to check if the emails are been sent correctly.
- Go back to the Gmail account and verify if the email is getting sent correctly.
- If the Email Sent looks good to go, click on Publish to publish the Zap
- Your Zap is all set !!!
