Filters in Team Inbox helps you to automatically organize your emails, by setting actions for emails that match the condition you set. You can set up multiple filters Under Team Inbox, based on several parameters.
To get started head to Team Inbox available under Left Menu Bar
- Scroll to the footer of the Team Inbox Menu
- You will find Label: Filters
(No records found (+) Click to create a new filter)
- As you click on + New Filter you get options to Select Matching logics like "AND" or "OR"
- Click on "Add Filter"
- Following Filter, choices are available for reference
- INBOX
- MESSAGES
- PROPERTIES
- TEAMMATES
- You can find various sub-menus to filter Emails as per your choice.
Using filters in search operation will be helpful to narrow down the search to specific team members, inboxes, recipients, and so on.

- It will be of type Select, where items of selected team inboxes visible to the user.

- Select the Required Inbox configured, Example :

- Recipients: It will filter the conversation in which any of the emails gets matched with one of the below fields.
- From: It will filter 'the conversation in which any of the email’s “from” field match with user-provided filter.
- To: It will filter the conversation in which any of the email’s “to“ field match with user-provided filter.
- Cc: It will filter the conversation in which any of the email’s “cc” field matches with user-provided filter.
- Bcc: It will filter the conversation in which any of the email’s “bcc” field matches with user-provided filter.
- Subject: It will filter the conversation in which any of the email’s “subject” field matches with user-provided filter.
- Body: It will filter the conversation in which any of the email’s “body” field matches with user-provided filter.

Multiple Conditions of filters can be applied together to narrow down the results.

- Is Read: It will fetch the conversations which are read/unread for the user.
- Condition available for this filter is as below:

- Has Attachments: It will fetch the conversation in which any single email is having Attachment or none of the emails has attachment based on filter applied.

- Has Deal: It will fetch the conversation which has the deal attached or not based on the filter applied by the user.

- You can further click on Apply to view the search combination results :
Manage Views
- If you need to use this applied filter on a regular basis, Salesmate recommends and gives you the option to Save the Filtered as Views for future reference
- Click on - Save as View
- Provide the Filter Name and hit Save
- The saved views are available under the Filters section
- You can further Edit, Rename or Delete the saved filtered view
- To Edit, Rename or Delete hover over the Three Dots icon
- Click on below options to perform operations as required:
- Edit: Update the Filter Properties
- Rename: Update the Filter Name
- Delete: Remove the saved filter permanently
- Note: This action is irreversible and cannot be undone.
