How to Attach a File from Record Detail View
To attach a file from Record Detail View,
- Navigate to the required Module from the left menu bar accessing the Listing View(Contact, Company, Deal, Custom Module, Tickets)
- Select the desired record and open it in the Detail View.
- Locate the Files Widget and click on the Attach File option.
- A pop up will open to Upload Files.
- Here, you can either drag and drop a file or simple select one from your system.
- You also get an option to attach a file from your Google Drive.
- After selecting the file, click Attach to link it to the record.
- The file will successfully get attached and will be visible under Files Widget.
How to Add a File from Record Preview
- Navigate to the required Module from the left menu bar accessing the Listing View(Contact, Company, Deal, Activities, Custom Module, Tickets, Product)
- Select the desired record and open it in the Preview.
- Click on the three dots on the top right corner
- Select the Add File option to add a file to the record.
- A pop up will open to Upload Files. (Follow the above steps to attach a file)
How to Download a File
To Download a File,
- Navigate to the Record's Detail View.
- Click on the File under Files Widget to Download it.
How to Remove a File
To Remove a File,
- Navigate to the Record's Detail View.
- Click on the three dots next to the attached file under the File Widget to Remove it.
