Email Verification helps improve email deliverability by validating email addresses before sending emails. This reduces bounce rates, protects your sender reputation, and helps maintain clean contact data.
With Email Verification, Salesmate can verify email addresses automatically or on demand using supported third-party providers such as ZeroBounce and NeverBounce.

How to Enable Email Verification?
To enable Email Verification,
- Navigate to your Profile Icon in the top-right corner.
- Click on Setup.
- Head over to Email & Delivery
- Click on Email Validity Check
Turn on the Enable Email Verification toggle. Select your preferred verification provider:
- NeverBounce
- ZeroBounce
If the selected provider is not installed, you'll be prompted to install and connect the application before proceeding.
How to Configure Email Verification Settings?
After enabling Email Verification and selecting available apps, you can configure how Salesmate validates email addresses under the Verification Behavior.
Verification Behavior
- Verify Email When We First Send an Email: When enabled, Salesmate automatically verifies recipient email addresses before sending emails. Verification occurs when an email address has not been verified previously or when its verification status is outdated.
- Auto Re-Verify Emails After Every X Days: Automatically re-verifies email addresses after the specified number of days. The recommended verification interval is 90 days.
Sending Policy
- Block sending to Invalid emails: Prevents emails from being sent to email addresses that have been identified as invalid.
- Block for Risky/Unknown emails: Prevents emails from being sent to email addresses with Risky or Unknown verification statuses.
- Warn for Risky/Unknown emails at time of one-to-one email send: Displays a warning message before sending emails to recipients whose verification status is Risky or Unknown.
