Filters in Salesmate allow users to refine and narrow down data based on specific criteria for better organization and analysis.
Filters are available on all the list views across all modules - Contacts, Companies, Deals, Products & Custom Module

How to Filter Records
- Navigate to any of the above Modules from the left sidebar(Ex: Contacts)
- From the Modules Listing page select a view from which you would like to filter records - say "All Contacts".
- Click on the Filters option on the top right
- Select the filter logic - Match all filters (AND) / Match any filters (OR)
- Filter logic governs how and when filters apply to your list.
- Match all filters (AND) – filter records that match “all” defined filter conditions.
- Match any filters (OR) – filter records that match ”anyone” of the defined filter conditions.
- Similarly, the filter logic can be applied to the same field too.
- Click on Add Filter.
- Select the Field which you want to use for filtering the contact.
- The filters can be applied in a combination of fields of different modules/features
- Similarly, you can filter the Records within different Modules
Note:
- Use the And Filter to combine two or more filters. The And Filter accepts the message and returns true only if all of its enclosed filters return true.
- The Or Filter returns true if any of its enclosed child filters return true.
Save the Filters As View
If you use similar filtered records frequently, you can quickly create a View for future usage.
Please follow the below steps to save a view for using it later.
- Apply the required filter as per the steps shown above.
- Select "Save as View".
- A pop will open here you first need to enter a View Name
Then you can choose from the following options
- Private: Opt for this option if you prefer to keep the view exclusively private.
- Everyone: Select this if you want to share the view with others. You can specify whether they have access to Viewing only or both Viewing and Modifying.
- Custom: This option provides the flexibility to select specific users or teams. You can define their level of access, ranging from No access, View-only rights, to the ability to Modify the View.
- Once done click on Save
How to Remove the Filters
You can follow the below steps to remove a filter that is no longer required or want to remove a specific filter.
- Click on the funnel icon (show filters) on the action bar.
- Click on the cross mark adjacent to the Filter that is not required.
- Or simply click on Clear All to remove all selected Filters
