Salesmate allows users to set Field Visibility according to organizational needs. They can customize list views by managing columns for relevant information and easily rearrange columns for improved data visualization by clicking, holding, and dragging column headers.
How to Manage Column Setting in List View
To manage Columns in views for you and your teammates, follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Navigate to Specific Module from the left sidebar(Ex: Contact)
- Click on the View Settings option
- Manage Column Setting option will pop up
- All available System fields, Default fields, Detail Fields, Internal Fields, and Analytic fields within the module are listed on the left
- You can efficiently search a specific Field with the Quick Search option
- Users can Tick/Untick the checkbox to Add/Remove the fields to be displayed in the List View
- Here you can also create a new custom fields with the + Add New Field option at the bottom left
- The "Clear All" option at the top right enables the removal of all columns from the List View, providing a quick way to reset the display layout.
- Admin Users/or Standard Users with permission can provide the preference for saving these columns with a view
- “This view” - “For Me”: It only saves the field column for the selected view only
- “All views” - “For Me”: This will save the selected field columns as default for the owner of the view across all the views.

- “This view” - “For Everyone”: The User can perform this option and save the selected columns for everyone for this view.
- “All views” - “Everyone”: The user can save the selected columns for everyone
- After configuring the desired columns in the List View, Save your preferences to retain the customized display layout.
