Salesmate sequences are not limited to emails or texts only. You can also schedule activities for users to reach out to customers using calls or set reminders for yourself for manual touchpoints using different mediums.
Activity as Action:
The "Activity as an action" step creates an activity for the user and waits for that activity to get completed before the sequence moves to the next step. The user also has the option to decide on sequence exit criteria based on the activity outcome.
For example, the user has selected a "Call" type of action with sequence exit criteria of call connected. Now on a particular date and time when Sequence hits this step, an activity is created and assigned to the user. The user can find that activity inside the workflow scheduled screen or activity listing screen.
If the user calls the customer and closes that activity as "connected" then the Sequence will stop with a state "Finished (With Reply)" otherwise Sequence will move to the next step.
Activity as Reminder:
The "Activity as a reminder" step creates an activity for the user but does not wait for that activity to be finished. On a particular date and time when Sequence hits this step, an activity is created and assigned to the user. The Sequence moves to the next step after the creation of the activity. This step doesn't have any auto-exit criteria.
For example, you can use an activity reminder step for yourself to find the customer's Twitter profile and send a personalized DM.
