Get more empowered by Salesmate to control the visibility of fields as per your organization's requirement and set it up beforehand to save the onboarding time.
If you would like to customize the List view with the information that is most relevant to your organization's needs, you can do so by managing columns at the top right corner of the List view.
If you need to move those columns around for better visualizing your information, simply click and hold on a column header, and drop it in the position you would like it to be displayed in the list view.
Manage and Save views
To manage Columns in views for you and your teammates, follow below-mentioned steps:
- Go to Specific Module where you need to update the Columns in Views
- For Example Contact Module
- Click on Manage Columns
For admins, there are three options available while you Manage Columns and hit save after arranging the required custom fields display :
- Save these columns as default for all the users
- Save these columns for the current view
- Save these columns as default for me
For standard users, the options are:
- Save these columns for the current view
- Save these columns as default for me
Save these columns as default for all the users
All users will see the above-selected columns as default whenever they create a new view or switch between the different views. If the users have customized any view with a specific list of columns, then they will not be impacted.
Save these columns for the current view
You and all other users (if the view is shared) will see above-selected columns when they switch to this view.

You will see the above-selected columns as default whenever you create a new view or switch between one view to another. If you have customized any view with a specific list of columns, then they will not be impacted.
Click on "Reset to default columns", use this option to remove the recently added custom fields in the active section on the list view.
