The Transcription Listing screen is a specialized interface designed for managing call transcriptions, offering users the ability to review, filter, and analyze call-related details efficiently.
To access the Transcription Listing
- Navigate to the Conversations Icon on the left menu bar.
- Click on Call Transcriptions.
- You can see the transcriptions that are accessible to you.
- If transcription is not enabled for any numbers, and no transcriptions exist on the link, you will see the landing screen with the following warning message:
“Call Transcription has not been enabled for any number in Salesmate. Please enable it to view transcription. Learn more.”
Details Displayed for Each Transcription
Each transcription in the listing will display the following details:

Title: The transcription title is auto-fetched from the activity title logged against the call.

Owner: The owner of the associated activity is displayed. This is directly fetched from the activity.

Date: The date and time when the transcription was generated. This is shown in the user's local date/time format.

Call Duration: The duration of the call, displayed in both minutes and hours.

Contact: The primary contact with whom the call was logged.

Linked Records: Any records that are associated with the activity and the transcription.

Comments: The number of comments associated with this transcription. When you hover over this field, a tooltip with the text “Comments” will appear.

Reactions: The number of reactions received on this transcription. When you hover over this field, a tooltip with the text “Reactions” will appear.

Trackers: The number of trackers found within the transcription. When you hover over this field, a tooltip with the text “Trackers” will appear.
Actions You Can Perform on Transcriptions
For each transcription, you can perform the following actions:
- Rename: Edit the title of the transcription.
- Add to Library: This option is currently hidden until the Library feature becomes available.
- Delete: Remove the transcription from the list.
- Bulk Action: You can perform only one bulk operation at a time, which is Add to Library (once the Library feature is available).
