You must activate the transcription feature through the Voice & Text settings to enable call transcription for a phone number.

Steps to Configure Call Transcription:
- Navigate to the Profile Icon at the top right corner.
- Click on Setup to open the settings page.
- Head over to the Voice & Text category in the menu.
- Click on Voice Apps.
Next, you’ll need to select the number for which you want to enable call transcription.

Edit the Number Configuration by selecting and editing the phone number from the list.

In the settings, enable the Call Recording toggle.
Note: Call transcription requires call recording to be enabled. Without recording, transcription will not work.

Once call recording is activated, enable the Call Transcription toggle.

Click on Save to apply the changes.

A Checkmark will appear next to the number in the transcription column, confirming that transcription is successfully activated.
Steps to Set Minimum Duration for Call Transcriptions:
- Navigate to the sidebar and select Call Transcription.
- Set the minimum duration for transcription (minimum value is 2 minutes).
Steps to Summarize Transcriptions Automatically:
- Navigate to the sidebar and select Call Transcription.
- Enable the toggle button for “Summarize Transcriptions Automatically”
Note: This feature can only be enabled if your plan supports Sandy AI.
