Turn on Data Privacy Settings to ensure that the terms and conditions regarding privacy and content are transparently communicated to anyone requesting to view the document.
Note: Only Admin Users can perform this action
To Enable Document Data Privacy Settings,
- Navigate to the Profile Icon on the top right corner
- Click on the Set Up
- Head over to Organization category
- Click on the Privacy and Consents
Here, you get the following options to configure,
- Language: Select the language for editing the Consents. you can select the preferred language from the options available in dropdown
- Consent to Communicate: Configure the message here regarding the consent to communicate with your contacts. You can make changes to the default text. You can personalize the text using the Salesmate attributes

Consent Options: You can collect permission for email subscriptions, by choosing the subscription type and configuring the text that is displayed for it. You can capture the Consent for one or more Subscription types
- Subscription Types: Select the appropriate Subscription Types to capture the Consent.
- Subscription Label: Provide a label for the selected Subscription Type
- Privacy Policy: Configure the message regarding the privacy policy on the data you are capturing and how its processed, you can even link your privacy policy.
- Consent to Process Data: Configure the message here that should be displayed for implicit consent on processing of contact's data.
- Once done Save the configuration
