Here, The specific profiles or users should be granted access to a particular module. The module could refer to a specific section, feature, or functionality within the system. By selecting the appropriate profiles, only those users who have been granted permission will be able to access and use that particular module.
- Navigate to the Profile Icon in the top right corner
- Click on Setup.
- Head over to Modules
- Select the Custom Module
- Click on Manage Permission
- Once you Click on Manage Permission, the following options would appear:
- Tab Visibility Button: When tab visibility is enabled for a selected profile, the tabs associated with that profile become visible.
- View Button: When the View button is selected for a user profile, that profile will have the ability to see the records within the specific custom module. The View button grants read-only access to the records.
- Create Button: If the Create tab is disabled for a particular profile, that profile will not have permission to create any records in the custom module. The Create tab restricts the profile from adding new entries to the module.
- Edit Button: When the Edit button is selected for a user profile, it allows the profile to modify existing records within the custom module. The Edit button grants the profile the ability to make changes to the records, such as updating information or fields.
- Delete Button: By selecting the Delete button for a user profile, the profile gains the ability to delete records from the custom module. The Delete button enables the profile to remove records permanently.
- After Selecting any particular action, click on Save.
