When a survey is unpublished in Salesmate, it becomes inactive, meaning it will stop accepting new responses, and any shared links or embedded versions will no longer function. Additionally, any active automations (such as Smart Flows or Execution Flows) referencing the unpublished survey will be impacted.
Note: Only users with the “Manage Surveys” permission can unpublish a survey.
How to Unpublish a Survey

Navigate to Surveys from the left side under Outreach.
- Select the survey you wish to unpublish.
- Click the Action
- Select the Unpublish

A confirmation dialog will appear with the following message:
- “Once you unpublish this survey, it will no longer accept responses. All links and embeds will be disabled. Are you sure you want to unpublish?”
- Hit Unpublish.
Note: If the survey is being used in any Smart Flows or Execution Flow, the system will prevent you from unpublishing it.
