Shopify is a leading hosted eCommerce platform that allows businesses to build customized online stores and sell digital, physical, or service-based products with ease.
This integration enables existing Shopify customers, products, and orders to sync seamlessly with Salesmate CRM. Users can then leverage Salesmate to manage their customer relationships and run effective sales and marketing campaigns.

Steps to connect to the Shopify Store:
- Navigate to the Profile icon in the top right corner.
- Click on Setup.
- Head over to App & Add-Ons.
- Click on E-Commerce.
- Go to Shopify and click on Install.
- Click on Connect Store.

You will first be redirected to the Store Connection screen.
- Enter Shopify Store URL

At this stage, You can select either Access Token(if you have already made Custom app in shopify) or Client Secret.

For Access Tokens, You’ll need to enter:

Admin Access Token
-
Storefront Access Token
-
- For Client Secrets, You’ll need to enter:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
To generate Client Secrets tokens from your Shopify store:

Go to your Shopify store → click Apps & Sales Channels → click Develop Apps

Click Build Apps In Dev Dashboard
- Select Create an App
- Give it a name, and then click Create
- Now, Go to versions and add Your Salesmate App URL(Ex. Demoexperience.salesmate.io)
- Disable Embed App in Shopify Admin
Under the Scopes tab:

Click Configure Admin API Scopes and select:
read_products,read_inventory,read_orders,read_customers,read_discounts,write_content,read_content,write_pixels,read_pixels,read_customer_events,unauthenticated_read_content,unauthenticated_read_metaobjects,unauthenticated_read_product_listings,unauthenticated_read_customers - Disable Use Legacy Insall Flow
- Select Release
- Give the version name and message and Click on Release

Click Save, then click Install App

After installation Under Settings, you will get:

Client ID and Secret under the API credentials, copy both tokens.

- Now, Go to Home and click on Install App.
- Now, you can select the store here
- Once, Selecting the store, Click on Install
Now, complete the connection in Salesmate:

Go back to the Salesmate > Connect Store screen

Enter the Shopify Store URL, Admin Access Token, and Storefront Access Token in the respective fields

Click Connect.

You will see a “Connected Successfully” message at the top

You’ll be redirected to the Field Mapping screen, and the connection status will update to Connected

Once the sync starts or setup is complete, you can view the status of all connected stores:
Status:
- Connected: Sync active and successful
- Failed: Connection broken or sync issue
- Setup Required: Mapping incomplete
- Import In-progress: First-time data import running
Once a Shopify store is connected to Salesmate. You can now configure the tracking events.
Once configured, the widgets below will be displayed with the data gathered from your store on the Contact detail page.
