This article explains how to map Shopify order fields to Salesmate deals and configure order sync preferences. This ensures accurate data import, deal tracking, and pipeline management by seamlessly aligning Shopify orders with your Salesmate CRM.
Topics Covered
Here’s what is covered in this article:
Map your Deal Fields
To sync Shopify orders as deals in Salesmate, you must map Shopify order statuses to pipeline stages. You have two options here,
Create a New Pipeline (Recommended)
-
Pipeline Name – Enter a name (e.g., Shopify Orders).
-
Stages – Auto-created based on Shopify order statuses.
-
Salesmate default stages are excluded (e.g., Prospect).
-
Win Probability – Automatically set to 100% for each stage.
-
-
Permissions – Available only if the user has access to create pipelines.
Use an Existing Pipeline
-
Manual Mapping – Map each Shopify order status to a Salesmate pipeline stage.
-
Auto-Matching – System tries to match statuses with similar stage names (e.g., paid → Closed Won).
-
Validation – All statuses must be mapped to proceed.
-
Pipeline Visibility – Only editable pipelines are listed.
Order Sync Preferences
Select how you'd like to sync Shopify orders into Salesmate:
Sync New Orders Only
- Imports only the orders created after integration is enabled.
Sync New + Historical Orders
-
All Past Orders – Imports entire order history (can take longer).
-
From Specific Date – Import orders starting from a defined date.
-
Default: Last 90 Days
-
You can modify the range using the Custom Date picker.
-
Start Sync
-
Click Start Sync to begin data import.
-
✅ Success: “Mapping saved. Syncing Shopify data now.”
-
-
Use Back to return to product mapping if needed.
Monitoring Sync Progress
Once sync is initiated, you can track the progress from the Store Detail Screen:
-
A progress bar indicates the sync status.
-
Recently synced data and timestamps are shown.
-
Configure sync frequency (e.g., hourly, daily) as per your preferences.
By configuring the Shopify order sync as outlined above, you ensure accurate deal tracking in Salesmate and avoid data inconsistencies. This setup simplifies your eCommerce workflows while ensuring sales teams stay aligned with real-time customer and order information
