A: Deleted records in Shopify are not removed from Salesmate. The sync is one-way—Shopify to Salesmate only.
Q3. What happens if I downgrade my plan or exceed the store limit?
A: You’ll be prompted to upgrade your plan. If you’re already on the highest (Enterprise) plan, you'll be directed to contact support for assistance.
Q4. Can I trigger automation based on Shopify events?
A: Yes, you can automate actions on events like order placed, fulfilled, abandoned cart, etc.
Q5. How are duplicate contacts handled during sync?
Salesmate matches contacts based on email. If the email matches, the contact is updated (except for Owner and Contact Type). Otherwise, a new contact is created.
Q6. Can I import historical Shopify orders?
Yes. During sync setup, you can import:
- Only new orders
- All historical + new orders
- Orders from a specific custom date range
